Redesigning the Irish Rail App (UX)
Our redesign of the Irish Rail app takes a user-first approach, directly addressing common pain points identified through user research. Key improvements include a more intuitive onboarding process, streamlined journey planning with multiple route options, and a clearer, more engaging display of journey details. The goal was to create a smoother, more responsive user experience from start to finish.
We introduced features like "Further Ticket Information," "Multi-Ticket Checkout," and "Easy Seat Selection" to enhance flexibility and simplify the booking process. Quick Pay options and the ability to choose between physical and digital tickets give users more control and convenience, making travel planning faster and more seamless.
This redesign emphasizes clarity, usability, and choice—empowering users with the tools and information they need to plan, book, and manage their journeys effortlessly.
